Resources for Research

One of the most important things you can do as an expecting mother is research! Researching in pregnancy can prepare you for your labor, birth and postpartum options. Birth comes with many unknowns - how will labor go, is induction necessary, what should be eaten in labor, will interventions become necessary, and so much more!

“Women can only make informed choices when they’re able to get comprehensive information on the many decisions that come up during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. “ - Ina May Gaskin

Though we highly encourage taking our Be Empowered Childbirth Education classes to help you learn about your birth options, extended research is still so important. But sometimes, it can be hard to know what are reliable resources and evidence-based information.

We are here to help provide you with quick access links to some of the best resources for you to feel confident in the information you are receiving about your birth options!
