Our classes are a safe place to learn, explore, and prepare for your desired birth. We emphasize providing you with evidence-based information and interactive focused classes. You deserve a space to learn unbiased information and that allows you to create a plan that suits you.

Childbirth Core Curriculum
End of Pregnancy
To best understand labor and birth, we start the class with an anatomy review and learning about fetal position and cervical changes!
Stages of Labor
During class we will learn about the First, Second, and Third stage of labor from what to expect with contractions, what changes are occurring, when to head to your birth location, pushing, and much more!
Preparing for Your Birth
We know that more than just the information you will receive in our childbirth education class goes into birth. Therefore, we also help you prepare for your birth through understanding oneself to help you and your birth partner prepare for your whole birth experience.
Comfort Measures
During class, we will equip you with practical techniques to promote comfort, encourage labor progress, and build confidence throughout the birth process. Together, we will review positions, movement, breathing, relaxation, and partner support techniques to prepare you for your labor and birth.
Variations
Our childbirth education class is designed to provide you with the knowledge to identify your birth preferences and begin to prepare for your labor. Through our interactive class, you will have the opportunity to take this information and directly apply it during our class activities.
Cesarean Birth
In the journey of labor and birth, sometimes things go differently than we plan. With our childbirth education course, we want to ensure that if your birth unexpectedly changes, you have gained an understanding of what a cesarean birth entails.
Right After Birth
Just as you give your last push and your precious baby emerges, what comes next? We will share about immediate skin to skin, delivering your placenta, delayed cord clamping, and newborn care practices!
Interventions
We often like to refer to these as your birth options! During this time we also focus on thoughtful decision-making with informed consent and learning about weighing the benefits and risks.
