I can not speak highly enough about Jessica at Little Lilacs. She was amazing from the start with her level of communication and walking myself and my husband through my pregnancy journey and what to expect (since I was a FTM). At our first meeting she was totally informative and remained in constant contact throughout my pregnancy and also help answer any questions I had via text or phone call (especially when I was laboring at home). Our first prenatal appointment I had a list of questions and she helped me alleviate any concerns I had as well as deliver my birthing plan at the hospital. When delivery time came she was there to help coach me through my delivery process (which was a breeze) thanks to our communication over my pregnancy and at our prenatal appointment. She also came to my house for my followup postpartum appointment to make sure I and baby were doing well and to help me with my belly binding. If you are on the fence about hiring a doula - (esp. Jessica) do it! As a first time mom having her was a boost of confidence I needed during my pregnancy, labor and postpartum journey.
