It was such a blessing to have Katie Woolums as our doula especially as first time parents. She was our answered prayer! Her amazing support throughout our pregnancy journey and childbirth made our experience incredibly and positively memorable. She was always available to clarify questions and quick to reply.

During labor, she was a true life saver! Truly, my husband and I could not have gone through this experience without her. As soon as she arrived at the hospital, she knew exactly what to do. Her calm demeanor, doula knowledge and experience was so comforting and put my husband and I at ease all throughout. She knew what positions to put me in and guided us between contractions and resting. She sat with me through every contraction to help me relax, feel comfortable, and confident. When either one of us needed something she was there every step of the way. I really appreciated her knowledge and ability to communicate with the nurses. One of the seasoned nurses who has been at the hospital for 20 years even mentioned to me she’s one of the best doulas she’s seen.

Katie was even able to capture a few pictures and video that we probably would not have taken had she not been there. I’m so grateful she captured these moments as my husband and I will cherish these pictures, video, and memories forever! There was no doubt in my mind she was meant to be apart of our journey. Truly, she was our answered prayer. Needless to say, if and when we have our second, we will be honored to have her as our doula again. We highly recommend Katie Woolums!!!
