Little Lilacs was born from a deep desire to nurture and support women and their families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as they transition into the profound journey of parenthood. As a mother, I’ve experienced firsthand the transformative power of bringing a new life into the world, and it is a privilege to participate in this momentous phase of someone's life.

My own journey into motherhood ignited a fiery passion within me to become a doula. Discovering I was pregnant brought a mixture of overwhelming joy and understandable trepidation. The realization of how much there was to learn propelled me into a quest for knowledge. I immersed myself in literature on pregnancy and birth, participated in comprehensive childbirth classes, and built a formidable support team to guide us toward the birthing experience we envisioned.

Despite enjoying a healthy pregnancy, my labor and delivery journey was challenging and culminated in interventions that diverged from my original plan. After giving birth, I faced the emotional hurdle of being discharged while my son remained in the NICU for an additional week. During this roller coaster of emotions, it was the unwavering support of our team that carried me through, helping me navigate the complex tapestry of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This journey profoundly called to my heart, urging me to extend my hand in support to others embarking on this life-altering adventure.

Currently, Little Lilacs is in a nurturing phase where I’ve chosen to slow down providing direct client support so that this period can allow me the honor of collaborating with and mentoring an extraordinary team of doulas. Their dedication and compassion ensure that the essence of Little Lilacs—a commitment to supporting doulas in their mission to assist families—continues to flourish.

At Little Lilacs, our core mission evolves from my personal journey and passion. We are committed to offering unwavering support to doulas, enabling them to provide families with the guidance, care, and encouragement they need during one of the most pivotal experiences of their lives.
