A doula's main purpose is to provide physical and emotional support during the birth process, we are also here to help you sift through the overwhelming information available, be a resource with evidence-based knowledge, and even simply lend a listening ear when you need it most.
After you give birth can be a fragile time as you step into the role of motherhood. During this season of transition, it is important that you and your family have the support you may need as you recover both physically and emotionally. The postpartum doula will provide tailored support that allows you to focus on bonding and recovery.
With our Lactation Support we offer home or office visits for mother and baby. During a visit we want to learn about your journey, help identify obstacles, and provide you with techniques and tips to help improve your breastfeeding journey. Our focus during a visit is to teach and equip you with positions, latch techniques, and infant feeding and care information. A typical visit will take 1.5-2 hours to allow for plenty of time for discussing and assessing a nursing session.

The Intuitive Birth childbirth classes cover all the elements needed to prepare for your birth experience, including evidence-based information about natural unmedicated, hospital, birth center, and home births as well as information on epidurals and cesareans.
Many women report that their placenta capsules have helped them with increased milk supply, decreased feelings of imbalance, improved energy, reduced fatigue, and much more.
Belly binding is a process that focuses on supporting a newly postpartum mothers core, lower back, pelvis and pelvic floor. Typically, three-to-four days postpartum one of our trained belly binding specialists visits the new mother. During this time, we show the new mother the belly binding process and walk her through how to continue using the binding technique daily. It is recommended that the the belly bind be worn about 8 hours a day, and taken off during a shower and in the night.
