I am a full-spectrum doula with over five years of experience guiding families through the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Originating from the lush North Woods of Wisconsin, my journey in pursuing a passion for maternal health, birth empowerment, and holistic well-being brought me to the sunny state of Texas five years ago. Through my role as a doula, I am deeply committed to understanding the systemic barriers my clients may face, acknowledging that navigating these challenges is crucial for providing effective support. My services are rooted in accessibility, inclusiveness, and cultural appropriateness, ensuring that every family I work with receives respectful and attuned care to their unique needs and backgrounds. By prioritizing the improvement of health and well-being for individuals, families, and communities, I dedicate myself to not just the immediate birthing process but to fostering long-term positive outcomes. This holistic approach is the cornerstone of my work as a full-spectrum doula, where every action and decision is made to empower the families I support, honor their journeys, and contribute to the creation of stronger, healthier communities.

Grounded in the conviction that birth is a sacred and transformative process, I dedicate myself to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for each family I have the privilege to serve. I sincerely believe in the empowering nature of informed choice and make it my mission to enable my clients to make decisions that resonate with their individual needs, values, and visions for their birth experiences. Whether it's offering support during pregnancy, labor, or postpartum, I am there, providing continuous emotional, physical, and spiritual support.

My approach is an integrated tapestry of holistic practices; I offer comforting measures during labor and promote self-care during the postpartum period. I weave my diverse skill set with a profoundly compassionate, faith-based perspective, honoring the divine connection between body, mind, and spirit throughout the birth process.

With my heart rooted in my Christian faith, I bring a loving spiritual presence to my work, celebrating each family's personal journey. I walk beside them, sharing encouragement, reassurance, and guidance as we move together through the sacred experience of bringing new life into the world.

I am deeply committed to ensuring that every family feels seen, heard, and supported, helping them pave the way to a birth experience that is authentically theirs.

What was your biggest takeaway from doula training?

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned throughout my training is the power of truly listening to families during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. While advice and practical support are undeniably important, what families often need most is someone who will simply listen with compassion and empathy. Being present, offering a listening ear, and holding space for their feelings and concerns can be more impactful than any piece of advice. It’s in these moments of connection that families feel seen, heard, and supported, and that is where the real healing and growth can take place!

Why should a client hire you?

A client should hire me because I bring a combination of compassion, expertise, and dedication to every family I support. I take the time to truly listen and understand their unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Whether it's during pregnancy, birth, or the postpartum period, I provide not only practical guidance but also emotional support, helping families navigate this important time with confidence and peace. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where families can feel at ease and fully supported.

What is the number one thing you use when supporting a family?

The number one thing I rely on when supporting a family is compassion. It’s essential to meet each family where they are, without judgment, and truly listen to their needs and emotions. Compassion allows me to create a safe, supportive space where families feel heard, respected, and empowered to make decisions that are best for them. Whether it's during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, showing empathy and understanding builds trust and helps families navigate their journey with confidence and peace.
