Setting the Standard for Excellence in Fort Worth, Texas for Placenta Encapsulation Services
Why should you encapsulate your placenta?
Many women report that their placenta capsules or placenta pills have helped them with increased milk supply, decreased feelings of imbalance, improved energy, reduced fatigue, and much more. We know the benefits of placenta encapsulation allows for the ease of the sudden decrease in hormones and iron, since the placenta is responsible for producing all the pregnancy hormones and triggers the increase blood volume during pregnancy. Once you deliver the baby and placenta there is the significant drop in hormones and blood volume. Research shows two major elements of the placenta capsules includes oxytocin and iron. Oxytocin is the love hormone, which helps mom bond with baby and reduces the risk of Postpartum Depression. Iron deficiency is shown to increase the risk of Postpartum Depression, which since the blood volume drops, it makes sense the the iron levels drop too and leaving many mothers vulnerable to PPD. Placenta capsules are a great addition to your postpartum period! With serving the Forth Worth area, the Forth Worth Placenta Encapsulation Specialist would be honored to provide you with the placenta encapsulation services and placenta pills!
What is the process?
As a Fort Worth Placenta Encapsulation Specialists with Texas Food Handler’s Safety certificates as well as Biologix Bloodborne Pathogen certificates, we follow all OSHA safety guidelines by encapsulating only one placenta at a time in a designated area with gloves and safety gear. Our designated space includes stainless steel counter tops, designated stainless steel sink, steamer, dehydrator and Ninja. Using the Traditional Chinese Method, your placenta is drained, cleaned, and steamed with warming herbs, such as cinnamon, ginger, garlic, and lemon, which increases the benefits. After the steaming process, it is thinly sliced and placed in a dehydrator. Once dehydrated, the encapsulation process can begin, using all-natural vegetable capsules. Upon the completion of your placenta pills, you will receive them typically within one to two days in the mail.
How long does it take?
Within 48–72 hours after birth, we will send you your placenta pill, suggested dose and usage guide, and a dehydrated cord keepsake to your home.
