My passion for supporting new families began during my college years, when I worked as a nanny. After earning my undergraduate degree in psychology with a concentration in early childhood development, I felt a deep clarity: I was meant to support families through one of life’s biggest transitions. As a nanny, I entered homes just weeks after a baby arrived, and I witnessed firsthand how overwhelming and isolating those early days could be—especially when parents felt they had to do it all alone. Over time, I realized that what they needed most wasn’t just help with the baby, but someone who could listen with empathy, offer gentle guidance, and help them feel seen, supported, and less alone.

These experiences led me to postpartum doula work. It feels like a natural extension of who I am and what I’m meant to do: being a grounding presence during a time of transition while offering steady support, and reminding parents that they are not alone. As a postpartum doula, I am here to help you feel more rested, confident, and nurtured in the early days of parenthood.

When I am not serving a postpartum family, you can find me reading, going on walks, serving at my local church, and exploring national parks with my husband. I love coffee, traveling and hosting friends and family!

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

- Psalm 16:11

FUN FACT: I lived in China for 3 months during college to share the gospel!

What was your biggest takeaway from doula training?

My biggest takeaway from my doula training was the importance of holding space. I learned how to offer non-judgmental, compassionate support without trying to fix or change the experience for the client. As well as an understanding that giving birth is not just a physical or emotional change, but a massive life and brain shift. It has helped me show up with more compassion and awareness. I’m able to better recognize where someone might be mentally or emotionally during pregnancy or postpartum, and meet them where they are with the kind of support they really need.

Why should a client hire you?

I bring a calm and supportive presence during this transformative time in your life. I understand how deeply the mind and body shift during this season, and I show up with empathy and patience. I simply hold space for whatever you’re feeling. My goal is to help parents feel nurtured, capable, and never alone in the process.

What is the number one thing you use when supporting a family?

The one thing I use when supporting a family is compassion and empathy. I desire to tune into what my clients might be experiencing emotionally, mentally, and physically. I desire to create a space where the client feels completely seen, heard, and safe to express themselves.
