After the birth of my first child—and through my own journey as a preemie/NICU mom—I quickly realized how many parents go through this major life transition without the support they truly need. As a military wife, I’ve also seen how living far from family and community can leave new parents feeling isolated and overwhelmed. So, I started showing up in the ways I could—dropping off meals, helping set up nurseries, and checking in with soon-to-be and brand-new parents. What began as a heartfelt way to care for those around me quickly grew into something more. With a little nudge from loved ones who saw how much I loved it, I took the leap into birth work—and I’ve never looked back!
With a background in kinesiology and certification as a birth doula, I now have the absolute joy of supporting families through a wide range of birthing experiences—from cozy home births and peaceful birth center deliveries to high-risk pregnancies, twin births, VBACs, and planned cesareans. I’m especially passionate about honoring birth as a natural, physiological process and trusting the incredible wisdom of the body. I believe birth is a natural process that sometimes needs intervention—not an emergency that sometimes happens to be physiological. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence, and encouragement, creating a warm and judgment-free space where every family feels informed, empowered, and supported.
I’m here to help you feel confident, calm, and connected as you prepare for one of life’s biggest moments—and to walk with you every step of the way.
When I’m not attending births, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my husband and our two toddlers—splashing in the water, hiking, or soaking up the sunshine. And once the kids are tucked in, my husband and I love winding down with a board game or puzzle (preferably with snacks involved!).

What was your biggest takeaway from doula training?
DONA not only teaches us how to hold space for moms, but also provides in depth knowledge and wisdom on recognizing what a mom needs and how to best support her need.
Why should a client hire you?
Unwavering support and education throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. My goal is to reduce stress, increase comfort, and lead you through a birth where you feel empowered and informed.
What is the number one thing you use when supporting a family?
Besides education and birth planning, I would say I use a lot of my background in kinesiology to help a mom and with movements and massage.
Number one birth and postpartum book recommendation?

The fourth trimester is such a special and sacred time. It is also a big transition with many things that are new and some things that are unexpected. This book discusses some of those things which helps parents have a smoother transition when they can recognize and expect some of the new things.
