Placenta Encapsulation in the Texas Hill Country

Trusted ship-in placenta services, from our family's own community.

"The Hill Country has become home for our family, so expanding our services here is deeply personal. We are honored to bring the trusted care we have built through Little Lilacs and our placenta services to families within our own community."

— Stacey Ritter, Founder

Why families encapsulate

Many women report that their placenta capsules have helped them with increased milk supply, decreased feelings of imbalance, improved energy, reduced fatigue, and much more. We prepare your placenta using the Traditional Chinese Method — inspected, gently steamed with lemon oil, dehydrated, and compounded into capsules in a dedicated space, one placenta at a time.

How ship-in encapsulation works

STEP 1

Book and sign

Choose your package and sign the service agreement online — payment and paperwork happen in one place, before your due date.

STEP 2

Your kit arrives

We send your placenta transport cooler and shipping materials to your home so everything is ready before your birth.

STEP 3

Freeze and ship

After delivery, your placenta is placed in the provided cooler and frozen, then shipped using the enclosed label and step-by-step instructions.

STEP 4

Capsules come home

We process one placenta at a time in a dedicated space using the Traditional Chinese Method. Encapsulation is completed within 48–72 hours of receiving your placenta, and your capsules — with a suggested dose guide and umbilical cord keepsake — are delivered back to you.

Common questions

Is it safe to ship a placenta?

Yes — this is exactly what the kit is designed for. Your placenta travels frozen inside the insulated transport cooler we provide, with clear packing and carrier instructions enclosed. On arrival it is inspected before processing begins.

How long until I receive my capsules?

Encapsulation is completed within 48–72 hours of your placenta being received, then your capsules, dose guide, and cord keepsake are sent to your home. Placenta tinctures take longer to prepare and are sent about 6–8 weeks after delivery.

Do I need a provider near me?

No. Because the process is ship-in from start to finish, you can be anywhere in Texas — your birth location and your kitchen counter are the only places your placenta needs to be before it ships.

What is included?

The standard package includes approximately 80–200 capsules (depending on placenta size), a special umbilical cord keepsake, and a suggested dose and usage guide. Tincture and salve add-ons and a bundle package are available.

And I’m SO happy I went in that direction. I didn’t take it until 10 days PP, (1) bc I just forgot lol (2) I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I reached out to Abby for reassurance that’s…" Read more reviews
