Hi, my name is Rebekah, and I am so glad you’re here! I am a certified birth and postpartum doula serving families across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and I am deeply passionate about the journey of motherhood and creating a safe haven for women and their families during one of the most beautiful, challenging and vulnerable seasons of life.
My longtime interest in birth and babies grew into a calling while working at a local pregnancy resource center, where I met countless women navigating pregnancy and birth without consistent support. Seeing the deep need for education, advocacy, and compassionate care inspired me to step into that gap as a doula.
Shortly after completing my training, I gave birth to my first baby at home with an incredible birth team and experienced firsthand what it feels like to be fully heard, supported, and cared for throughout pregnancy and birth. That experience shapes the way I care for my clients. I am continually amazed by the strength God has placed within women to carry, birth, and nurture their babies, and it is such a joy to walk alongside my clients throughout the process. I also believe that families deserve immense support throughout the postpartum period, regardless of how smooth or complicated the birth was. Postpartum is a complex time marked by intense emotions, deep physical healing, constant learning, and an attempt to find a “new normal”. I am passionate about entering that space and providing practical, hands-on support so that mom, dad and baby can experience a more seamless and peaceful transition.
Wherever you are on your pregnancy and postpartum journey, I’d love to meet you and talk about how I can best empower and support you along the way!
A little bit about me personally: I am a native Texan, but I am fascinated by other cultures and have traveled to nine countries on mission trips with my church. In between my travels I took Spanish immersion classes and learned to speak the language conversationally. I currently live in Keller with my amazing husband and daughter, and as a family we love to go on long walks, visit local coffee shops, cook new recipes, and build meaningful relationships in our community.

What was your biggest takeaway from doula training?
My biggest takeaway was how important informed consent is when it comes to medical interventions in birth. As a doula, it's very important to me that my clients are educated on possible interventions so that they can decide what they feel is right for them and their baby. Although interventions can be necessary and life saving at times, they are not always medically indicated and also come with various risks, and I believe parents should be aware of the pros and cons of interventions ahead of time so that they can make decisions that they feel at peace with.
What is one thing you wish you knew during pregnancy or postpartum?
I wish I knew that postpartum requires intentional preparation and an immense amount of support. It truly takes a village! I went into postpartum knowing that things could be hard, but also remaining overly optimistic that everything would just work out and we wouldn't have any major challenges. So, after navigating breastfeeding challenges, triple feeding, oral tie evaluations, body work, and supply drops, just to name a few, my view of postpartum totally shifted. It is a precious season but definitely comes with its fair share of challenges, which is why I am passionate about starting postpartum preparation during pregnancy and then supporting my clients throughout all the highs and lows of the fourth trimester!
What is the number one thing you use when supporting a family?
The number one thing I use when supporting a family is discernment. Birth knowledge, comfort measures and positioning are all incredibly important, but I have to exercise a lot of discernment in deciding when to use them, and when to just hold space for the mother as her body goes through the most natural and miraculous process in the world.
Number one birth and postpartum book recommendation?
Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn by Penny Simpkin. It is has so much great information about what to expect during labor and delivery, possible interventions and their various risks, when to head to the hospital, techniques to practice for labor, etc.
Why should a client hire you?
Simply, because I strive to create a safe haven for all of my clients and ensure that they all feel loved, well-supported, and encouraged through the entire process.
