Before my son was born, I had heard so many stories about birth being something to fear—an overwhelming, painful process that you just had to endure. But as I prepared to welcome my child, I felt a pull to learn more. I wanted to understand birth beyond the fear-based narratives I had grown up with. In those final weeks of pregnancy, I immersed myself in research, eager to feel informed and empowered.
However, even with all the preparation, I quickly realized how challenging it was to navigate the system. My questions were dismissed, my voice was minimized, and I felt like my experience didn’t matter. I walked away from my first birth knowing one thing for sure: I wanted better for myself and for other moms. That experience ignited a passion within me that ultimately led me to become a doula.
I didn’t step into this work just because of my own story—I became a doula because I saw a gap in the way women are supported during childbirth. Birth is one of the most transformative moments in a woman’s life, and yet, so many women feel uninformed, unheard, and unprepared. My heart is to change that. I want women to know they have a voice, that their choices matter, and that they don’t have to walk this journey alone.
As I studied and trained to become a doula, I was continually amazed by the intricate, beautiful design of our bodies. I truly believe that God created us perfectly for the process of birth. His design is remarkable, equipping us with everything we need to bring life into the world. And the beauty of it is that every birth is unique—whether medicated or unmedicated, in a hospital or at home, every mom deserves to feel confident and supported in her decisions.
My passion as a doula is to walk alongside moms during this sacred time, offering encouragement, education, and unwavering support. I want to help women move beyond fear and into a place of trust—trust in their bodies, trust in the birth process, and trust that they are never alone.
Birth isn’t just a physical event; it’s a deeply emotional and spiritual experience. My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where moms feel empowered, heard, and deeply cared for. Because birth should be something we look back on with strength and pride, knowing that we were supported every step of the way.
“But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Trainings:
DONA Certified Birth Doula Training \ Lactation Basics for Doulas
What was your biggest takeaway from doula training?
The biggest thing I took away from my training is how powerful knowledge can be to both me and my clients during birth. Knowledge about birth can instill my client’s confidence in themselves and in me.
Why should a client hire you?
They should hire me because I've been through it. I've experienced childbirth myself, both medicated and unmedicated. I know how hard it can be trying to navigate pregnancy and birth. I would be a great resource for them to feel supported and informed about their upcoming birth.
What is the number one thing you use when supporting a family?
Movement is the number one thing I would use in supporting a family.
Number one birth and postpartum book recommendation?
I would recommend Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. I really love the positive birth stories you get to read as well as all of the labor prep and birth education.
