I can truly say my life changed when I met Laura Kelly. As a young first time mom i really had no idea how birth could be, I didn't question anything nor did I know that I could. Laura stepped in to my life as a doula but has stayed as a lifelong friend and mentor. She taught me what it meant to be informed, how important it was to educate myself on this drastic change that was coming to my life, and she supported me physically, emotionally, and relationally throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. She came to my house for false alarms and never complained. She sat with me and squeezed my hips for hours and never complained. I somehow broke her phone during a contraction and never heard a word of it until days later and we laughed about it. Laura is a doula. She informs, she supports, and she holds the space. She helped me and my husband transition into Parenthood and I am so extremely grateful for that. She does so much more than this though.. more than this review character limit will allow me to say.
