As a dedicated therapist, my journey into the world of birth work began with a profound realization during my doula training: the incredible power of remaining present during labor. This mindset, which I regularly apply with my therapy clients, proved invaluable in the labor room. It validated my belief in the importance of being present, not getting overwhelmed by the unknowns or the "what ifs."
One of my primary goals as your doula is to help you stay grounded in the present moment, fostering an environment of confidence and peace. I believe that when moms feel empowered and at peace, they can take charge of their birthing process with agency and trust.
My passion for supporting families through childbirth and early parenthood stems from this belief. By creating a calm, supportive atmosphere, I aim to help every mother feel empowered during this transformative time. It's an honor to be part of this incredible journey, witnessing the radical effort and profound joy as families welcome new life.
When I'm not supporting clients through therapy or birth, you can find me at a local farmer's market, enjoying a refreshing drink and fresh bread. My faith guides my life, nurturing my empathy and dedication to helping others.

What was your biggest takeaway from doula training?
When I think back to my training I vividly remember how powerful the ability to remain present is during labor. As a therapist I use this mindset with my clients constantly and so to learn how useful it is in the labor room was very valid. One of my main focuses in serving as your doula is to help you stay rooted in the present and not become overwhelmed by what has not yet come or the what-ifs. I find that when we can cultivate an environment of confidence and peace in labor, moms feel empowered to take the reigns of their process with agency and trust.
Why should a client hire you?
If you read this and thought, heck, she'll get me! Then hire. I want my clients to feel understood and supported so if any of what you read sounded like "Wow, she resonates with what I like" then reach out to me! I'm also bilingual so if you have a multilingual home (Spanish-English) in your gal :)
What is the number one thing you use when supporting a family?
I am all about making sure I empower my clients to figure out what tools will work best with them. The TENS is always well received but not everyone likes everything so remaining flexible and trying things out as they come has been huge. Mindfulness is also one of my special skills. I believe that if we protect our mental space we can truly tune into our bodies discern what's necessary in that moment and receive what comes to us as it comes.
Number one birth and postpartum book recommendation?
Made for This! I loved that book and it felt so empowering to read about birth in a way that was so countercultural in comparison to all the scare tactics that surround us in the media.
